Before I had Lily I never thought much about the moon or it's cycles or appreciated how beautiful it actually is until I saw it through her eyes β¨
As most of you would know Lily loves the moon, she was gifted a huge moon cycle wall lamp for her birthday and a moon torch that she packs in her hand bag to take everywhere with her β¨
Every night she says goodnight to the moon and loves to go outside or sit at our front window and watch the moon β¨
When it's full we get our blankets in the van and drive to our favourite lookout only ten minutes away from our home so that we can watch it shine without any street lights or car lights taking away from it's bright light β¨
We made these simple moon cycles for her wall just from a few bits and bobs we had around the house π
What we used:
πSalt
πCharcoal paint
πCardboard
We used our empty cereal box and cut it into circles π we painted it with our left over charcoal paint and sprinkled salt onto them in the shapes of each cycle π
